AEW Star Cut From WWE Network

A current AEW wrestler has been removed from a WWE Network broadcast.

Earlier this month, Anthony Ogogo would make his Progress Wrestling debut on their January 23rd Chapter 127 show.

Due to the promotion’s relationship with WWE, the event would air this past weekend on the WWE Network to add to the catalog of Progress shows already on there, however, one match was missing.

During the broadcast, Ogogo’s 6-minute victory over Hari Singh would be skipped over with the former Olympic Boxer being nowhere in sight.

When asked about the absence of the match, PROGRESS Wrestling would indicate that Ogogo vs Singh was a ‘bonus’ match exclusive to their demandPROGRESS, although it’s more likely that WWE didn’t want to showcase one of All Elite Wrestling’s stars.

It will be interesting to see if Progress will continue to book Ogogo on their shows going forward and if all of his matches will be considered ‘bonus matches’ that will be absent from WWE’s streaming service.
