Another WWE Talent Released

A long-time employee has been released from WWE.

Lucha Libre Online would break the news that Spanish announcer Carlos Cabrera has been released from the WWE after being with them for 29-years. The Puerto Rican based wrestling news site would tweet:

“As Hugo Savinovich has just reported EXCLUSIVELY for Lucha Libre Online, the legendary announcer in Spanish, Carlos Cabrera, has been fired from WWE after 29 years with the company.”

He first joined WWE in 1993, providing Spanish commentary for WWE’s top shows, including Raw, Smackdown, and pay-per-views.

After almost 30 years, he was one of the longest-running performers at the time of his departure.

His former partner, Hugo Savinovich also announced Cabrera’s release today on the Lucha Libre Online YouTube channel.
