Big E Provides Positive Injury Update
A former WWE Champion has shared an update on his recovery from a broken neck.
In March 2022, Big E would suffer from a scary neck break after landing on his head during a suplex spot on the outside at the hands of Ridge Holland. E would later reveal that he had sustained C1 and C6 fracture, although luckily there was no damage to his spinal cord.
Last month, he would post a video of him finally removing his neck brace for the first time in his recovery, with their now being another positive development. Last night, Big E would take to Twitter to update fans on his situation, revealing that he feels tremendous and has avoided the need for surgery. He would write:
“Update! My C1 isn’t ossifying (forming bone) quite yet. The current plan is to get more scans at the one year mark & see how it’s progressing. The great news is I feel tremendous & surgery is off the table.”
Although the C1 is yet to reform as a bone, there is hope that this will happen soon.
It remains to be seen if he will ever wrestle again, with reports stating that his in-ring days could be over if recovery doesn’t go to plan. Either way, the mans health comes first above being able to take bumps again, and it seems that E is happy with the progress he is making.
