Earlier this week Bullet Club’s Chase Owens that revealed January 31st was the last day of his current contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

In an update provided during a Twitch stream, Owens revealed that he has now re-signed with the company and plans to stick around for a long time. He would say:

“I’m going to be in New Japan Pro Wrestling for a long freaking time. I’m not going anywhere. I’m ‘for life. The money I’m given is worth the sacrifice. I’m not going to say exactly how long. My last contract was two years. It was way longer than two years. I’m 31 now. I’m going to be damn near 40 when my contract comes up.”

Chase would also reveal that he plans on returning to New Japan on their February 24th show.

This situation is similar to that of 2020, where Chase posted a similar tweet on January 31st of that year stating his contract was ending, before it was announced that he had since a multi-year deal with the promotion.

He now looks set to stay with New Japan for the foreseeable future, although the length of his contract is unknown.
