Championship Match Added To AEW Double or Nothing 2022
Another AEW Championship match has been added to the Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
On last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the latest addition to the pay-per-view was confirmed when it was revealed that AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa will defend her title against number one contender Serena Deeb.
The bout was announced during a segment that saw Rosa address the Baltimore crowd, before bringing out her next opponent.
The two wrestlers would reveal their mutual respect for each other, with them agreeing that they can make the AEW women’s division the best in the entire world. However, Deeb would add that in order for that to happen the best women’s wrestler in the entire world needs to be champion.
Serena Deeb is currently undefeated in 2022 sitting with a record of 8-0, whilst Thunder Rosa holds a record of 10-1.
Rosa has been champion since the St. Patrick Day Slam edition of Dynamite on March 16th, where she defeated Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. inside a steel cage. The match with Deeb will be her second defense of her title, having overcame the challenge of Nyla Rose at last months Battle of the Belts show on TNT.
