Shane McMahon Released From WWE

Shane McMahan made his return to WWE this past weekend at the Royal Rumble event. Shane would enter into the Men’s Rumble match at number 28, eliminating Kevin Owens, before being thrown over the top rope by eventual winner Brock Lesnar.
Just days later, it seems Shane McMahon has already been shown the door.
According to Ringside News, McMahon has been ‘quietly let go’ after a tenured member of the creative team told Ringside that Shane was let go in a “semi-quiet way” and “there will be no more creative discussions about Shane McMahon.” WWE have now “moved on to other creative discussions.”
This follows another recent report from Ringside News that revealed Shane also played a significant role behind the scene at the Royal Rumble show, with him acting as lead writer and producer of the Men’s 30-man match, which was described as a ‘nightmare’ for talent.
Shane is said to have openly buried fellow producer Jamie Noble, whilst trying to “book the Rumble around himself.”
Shane McMahon had reportedly been scheduled to wrestle at the upcoming Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania event, appearances that will no longer go ahead.
