WWE Star Kicked Out of Movie Premiere

Earlier this week, WWE Superstar Sami Zayn revealed that he was planning to attend the premiere of the movie Jackass Forever, which took place last night in Los Angeles, California.

WWE has now posted a video to social media of a confrontation between Zayn and Royal Rumble 2022 entrant and star of the film Johnny Knoxville on the red carpet.

Zayn would tell reporters that Knoxville has been ‘messing with him for months’ before Knoxville approached Zayn to ask him why he was there.

Zayn would be escorted away by security after asking the press why he was being labeled as ‘the bad guy’.

Later on in the night, Zayn would sneak back into the theatre for the premiere, sharing his story via Instagram.

An on-screen rivalry has been building between the two for a number of weeks on WWE television, which led to the two meeting in this past weekend’s Royal Rumble match. Zayn eventually eliminated Knoxville from the 30-man match.

It seems that WWE has plans to continue the feud heading into April’s WrestleMania, with the storyline mutually beneficial for both WWE and the Jackass franchise.

This is the second year in a row that Sami Zayn has been involved in a celebrity-themed storyline heading into Mania after YouTuber Logan Paul got involved in his feud with Kevin Owens last time around.
